Scaffold Shrink Wrap Installer Jobs – Cheshire
As a member of our shrink wrap installation teams you are at the heart of our business. Installing scaffold shrink wrap is a customer facing role where you represent Rhino Shrink Wrap and showcase our products to scaffolders and construction contractors on some of the largest and most exciting construction projects in the UK. Have you got what is takes to be a part of the Rhino Shrink Wrap Installation Team?
Rhino Shrink Wrap provide specialist high performance temporary weather protection and environmental containment to scaffolders and construction contractors. As a sheeting installer you will be responsible for installing a unique type of temporary weather protection and environmental containment sheeting.
Unlike traditional scaffold sheeting, which is simply attached to the scaffolding with bungee ties, shrink wrap sheeting is wrapped around the scaffolding and heat shrunk to create a ‘continuously bonded skin’.
As a scaffold shrink wrap installer you will generally be working from scaffolding but work from mobile elevate work platforms (MEWPS) is sometimes required. Previous experience is not required as we provide full training. More important to us is your positive outlook & ‘can do’ attitude.
Why should I consider working for Rhino?
We won’t pretend that shrink wrapping work is always easy. Being a shrink wrap installer is definitely not for everyone. This is a job which involves manual handling and will often involves some early morning starts. You will be working mostly outside throughout the year and travelling to sites based all over the UK. You may be expected to stay away from home from time to time. There will be occasional night time and evening work and you may be required to work occasionally at the weekend. You will be working on scaffolding and temporary roofs so a good ‘head for heights’ is essential.

If you are prepared to put in the effort then you will benefit from being part of a small but fast growing company where your efforts will be noticed and as we grow. Typically, as a new team member you will start as a shrink wrap installer as part of a team of 3, reporting to an Installations Manager. After gaining knowledge and experience there is the opportunity to supervise your own team, join our customer training division or perhaps even move into the pricing and managing of shrink wrap sheeting projects. It’s up to you and your aspirations.
What do Rhino Shrink Wrap provide?
We will provide you with the tools and equipment you need to do your job. We will supply you with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as boots, hard hat, gloves, high visibility trousers and jackets.
We will provide you with an induction process that will give you the essential skills that you need to learn to install sheeting. Over time, additional third party training in such areas as operating MEWPS, site supervision or first aid will be provided.
Shrink wrap installers are paid weekly. Starting £8-10 hour.
