Noise Barriers – Fencing

Construction Noise Barriers for Fencing

If you need to reduce noise pollution from construction work dFence® has been engineered to provide an effective temporary barrier against construction noise with a noise reduction of up to 46.7dB (average noise reduction in excess of 21,2 dB).

Sound Absorbing Barrier for Temporary Fencing

dFence® is typically used for;

  • Rail Maintenance Projects – To reduce noise disruption to residents living adjacent to track works
  • Civil Contracting – Reducing the impact of street works and repairs
  • Events – Minimising nuisance noise from large concerts, festivals and events
  • Construction – Reducing the noise generated from construction sites

Like dBarrier, dFence is constructed from flame retardant PVC which sandwiches a 40mm thick slab of sound absorbent foam. All panels are flame retardant as standard and UV stabilised to provide a long lifespan in even the most challenging environments.

They key difference dBarrier and dFence is that whilst dBarrier has fittings specifically designed to allow it to be attached to scaffolding, dFence is supplied with reinforced eyelets around the perimeter of each panel. Although dFence is typically attached to temporary fence panels which are used to surround and screen the construction work, dFence can be attached to anything.

Key facts
