Our installation team are at the heart of our company. Most of our hires come from people approaching us who have been recommended by current staff or who have joined us from other shrink wrap companies.
Our teams, who are all based in the centre of the UK, erect screens, partitions, suspended ceiling covers and tunnels on a diverse range of industrial and construction sites around the UK. All hold CSCS cards, IPAF certificates and are harness trained (including the ‘Gotcha’ rescue system).
Our supervisors are qualified under the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme.
Typical projects for our installation team include:
Shrink wrapping scaffolding to provide weather protection or environmental containment.
Creating temporary interior partitions
Encapsulating RC frame buildings without scaffolding to create temporary external cladding or building screens.
Shrink wrapping modular buildings and offsite elements to protect for transportation to the construction site.
Shrink wrapping temporary roofs
No heat shrink wrapping.
“I would like to pass on my thanks to the lads….they pulled a great deal of programme time back for us and were a credit to your outfit again. I think the same guys….are again being recognised so they are consistently making a difference for us! Cheers again and well done.”
“My own personal view is that the relationship….has been an exemplary demonstration of how sub contract arrangements should and can work. This has no doubt been down to the involvement and hard work by yourself….as well as others within your team.”

For many projects we are able to provide a quotation without visiting the work site. However, for large, unusual or complex jobs we are very happy to meet you on site to discuss your project.
If you can give as much information as possible then this will help us prepare an accurate quotation.
Your quotation will be emailed to you as a PDF file. For most scaffold shrink wrapping jobs, we provide a quotation as a cost per square metre (£/m2). For customers who do not have a credit account set up, we ask that you complete a short credit account application form.
When you are ready to proceed, sign your quotation at the bottom and return to us with your completed credit account application and we will then confirm your start date. (Shrink wrapping can be delayed by very wet and/ or windy weather.)
We will prepare a risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) for every job which every member of the shrink wrap installation team will read and sign.
Once the job has been completed the supervisor of the Rhino installation team will prepare a handover certificate which details the work completed.
Ideally 1-2 weeks notice is great, but we understand the nature of scaffolding and construction sites means that you may not always have this much notice so we will always try and be flexible to meet your deadlines.
Yes, however electric guns are available but they require three phase electricity supply, are cumbersome to use, cost three times as much and are still only about 1/3 of the power so the job will take much longer.
Generally speaking, shrink wrap installation starts from £6/m2. However, the costs for shrink wrapping scaffolding depends on a range of factors including the area to be sheeted, the location of the project and whether a final seal is required. Contact us for a quotation.
Although we mostly provide a shrink wrap contracting service in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland we can provide our shrink wrapping services, including shrink wrap training in any location worldwide.
Our standard warranty for shrink wrap that we install is 25 weeks subject to wind speeds up to and including 47mph.
We work on an average of 100m2 per man per day for scaffolding encapsulation & containment sheeting.
